NAIway Translation Service – Contractual Terms
Effective June 1, 2025
NAI, Inc.
• Our translation services are available
exclusively to corporate clients
, regardless of country of origin. Whether a client qualifies as a corporation is determined solely by NAI, Inc., based on factors such as the presence of a business website, registered capital, and a legally recognized representative.
•
All payments from overseas clients must be made in advance
. For domestic clients as well, prepayment may be required depending on the assessment and discretion of NAI, Inc.
• No additions or amendments to the source material will be accepted after official order confirmation. Such changes will be treated as new requests and subject to a revised estimate.
• Once an order is confirmed, cancellation is subject to a fee proportional to the amount of work already completed by our translators, coordinators, and associated staff.
• Where a separate written agreement exists, the terms of that agreement shall take precedence over this policy.
• In the event of any dispute arising in connection with a translation project, the matter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district courts of Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
(Part 2)Translation Policy & Operational Guidelines
NAIway Translation Service – Translation Policy
Effective June 1, 2025
NAI, Inc.
• Clients with specific preferences for terminology or style must provide reference materials (e.g., glossaries, past translations, style guides)
prior to official order confirmation.
Otherwise, our standard process will apply.
• Without such materials, we cannot accept revision requests related to tone, nuance, or wording. We translate faithfully to the source text and will not accommodate revisions that alter the original meaning.
• A
verification period of one (1) week
from final delivery is provided for objective error review (e.g., grammar issues, mistranslations, omissions). Stylistic or preferential revisions fall outside this scope and may incur additional charges.
• After the verification period, the translation is deemed final. We
do not offer refunds, complimentary edits, or fee reductions
under any circumstances, and
assume no liability
for any indirect or incidental consequences arising from the delivered content.
•
AI-assisted translation tools are used only upon client request.
We use
paid professional-grade tools
(e.g., Google Cloud Translation, DeepL Pro), which explicitly state that input data is not stored when using paid accounts. We comply strictly with those policies and apply strong internal confidentiality protocols.
Despite these safeguards,
NAIway(NAI, Inc.) assumes no responsibility for any data breaches or losses arising from the use of such tools
, provided they are used in accordance with their terms of service.
