他から受けている奨学金の受給金額が学習奨励費の給付月額未満であること。
在日している扶養者がいる場合、その者の年収が500万円未満であること。
前年度の成績評価係数が2.3以上であること。
日本に滞在していること。
Self-supporting international students in undergraduate courses who receive an average of ¥90,000 or less/month (excluding tuition) as an allowance.
Recipients of any other scholarship(s) totalling ¥48,000 or more/month are not eligible.
The annual income of the guarantor in Japan must be less than ¥5 million.
Applicant must have 2.3 or above of grade point average (GPA) in the previous academic year.
Applicant must stay in Japan.

仕送りが平均月額9万円以下（授業料を除く）であること。
他から受けている奨学金の受給金額が学習奨励費の給付月額未満であること。
在日している扶養者がいる場合、その者の年収が500万円未満であること。
